Shaun Cassidy San Antonio Concert reviews
Outstanding performance...
The show, as a whole, was an incredible experience! The seats were perfect, and the venue was great. Obviously, the most profound technical effect of the show was the various projections used throughout. The music and singing were excellent as well. What they were able to do with the projections on the white "wall" background was truly awesome. One thing that surprised me was the overwhelming prevalence of "second-hand smoke" within the arena. It was everywhere and totally unavoidable. For someone like me, who never partakes, that was a bit disappointing (e.g., more or less being forced to be exposed to it, and directly in my face at times). Thank God Prop 19 failed in CA! It would've been nice if HP Pavilion had a way to mitigate for that type of thing (aka better ventilation). The only other negative aspect was a brief period of time (just a few minutes) when the people in the next row forward decided they wanted to stand and watch, blocking our view. Overall, going to the show was worth it. I am certainly glad I went; it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
